Milky Way / Raspberry Is. Lighthouse

*Mark Weller and John Rummel will present a lecture about capturing photographs of the Milky Way and the lighthouses of the Apostle Islands. The first photo was taken in 2009 of Outer Island lighthouse. A second in the series was taken of the Sand Island lighthouse in 2010. The third image of the Raspberry Island lighthouse is available and was taken in 2011.
*The photos were captured to honor the memory of Martin Hanson, who had a great love for the Apostle Islands and was instrumental in Congress's passing a bill creating the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore in 1970.
*You'll have the opportunity to purchase one of these prints at the lecture. The proceeds support The Friends of the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, who's mission is to promote an appreciation for and preservation of the natural environment and cultural heritage of the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore.
